Paddy Power: Olly to Win The X Factor

On Sunday night we finally got to bid farewell to the Irish duo John and Edward (Jedward) and suddenly the X- Factor competition became a serious singing competition.

We were all shocked to see everyone’s favourite to win Olly Murs in the bottom two, battling it out against the all singing all dancing Grime’s brothers for survival. It came as no surprise when the judges dismissed the twins from the competition, allowing Mr. Murs to continue for another week.

With just 5 acts left performing for the public approval, the competition is getting tougher and despite this weekend's result Paddy Power is still offering favourable odds of 3/1 that Essex lad, Olly is going to bag the million pound record deal this winter.

Regardless of comments from judges deeming him too over confident and cocky,  Danyl Johnson has managed to win over the public week after week with his cheeky smile and THAT voice; therefore Paddy Power is offering odds of 6/1 that he will be the outright winner of X-Factor 2009.

Third favourite to steal the million pound record deal is the last lady of the show, Stacey Solomon. Her voice teamed with her ditzy, girl next door personality has made Stacey a definite public favourite. Odds on her winning at Paddy are 9/4.

The sweet singing Joe McElderry has moved his way up and down the markets this past few weeks but at the moment Paddy Power are offering him odds of 11/8. Can he sing his way back to the top of the pile in next weeks live shows?

Finally, the youngest in the competition and every Mum’s favourite is 16 year old, Welsh lad, Lloyd Daniels. Lloyd has managed to stay in the competition even with all the negative attention he has received from the press. Paddy Power is offering him odds of 33/1 that he will win the show.
