Chelsea vs Everton Betting

Both managers have injury problems going into the game at Stamford Bridge, but it’s been 9 years since Everton recorded a victory over Chelsea and it’s hard to see them bringing an end to that run on Saturday.
The Toffee’s haven’t had much to smile about this season. Just 3 points above the relegation zone with 15 games gone, Blues fans had much higher ambitions at the start of the season, but long term injuries to key players have contributed to some very disappointing results. Everton went 2-0 down to Tottenham at Goodison Park last Sunday, but showed tremendous sprit to pick up a point and prove that they should never be written off. Tim Cahill picked up a yellow card in that game and will miss out on the trip to London through suspension. Long term injuries to Phil Neville, Mikel Arteta, Victor Anichebe, James Vaughan and Phil Jagielka means they will all miss out. Dan Gosling remains a doubt and Joseph Yobo is also unlikely to feature.
Chelsea are having a fantastic season so far. Top of the table, they have won all 7 matches at Stamford Bridge in the Premiership so far, 6 of which they have kept a clean sheet. Michael Essien, a key member of the Chelsea squad this season, will be out for the next 4 weeks after picking up a hamstring problem in the midweek Champions League game. Last week, Carlo Ancelotti’s men showed that they can be beaten, suffering an away defeat to high spending Manchester City.
Everton aren’t the type of team to roll over and hand the victory to Chelsea, but even the most optimistic Bluenose will probably concede that, given all the injuries they have at the moment, the quality isn’t there to pick up a victory here, but Chelsea are only 1/ 4 best price with Bet 365. There maybe more value in backing the 17/20 with Victor Chandler for a Chelsea clean sheet, who have now gone 10 hours of football at home without conceding.
