The Take That star told the Sun that he had an affair with at least 10 women since he started dating his current wife Emma. He broke the news to his partner and children yesterday in a bid to wipe the slate clean.

He told the Sun "She loves me and I let her down. I'm really sorry," adding that "It's about me, my mistakes. Nobody else is to blame."

The singer blamed his battle with alcohol for his two-timing but says that the affairs stopped once he married Emma last October.
In an interview with the paper he said: "I have been living with the guilt. It has always been there - you carry it around with you.

It held me back in my relationship with Emma. I wouldn't have done any of this if I had my time again.

I am halfway through my life now and this, in a way, is a lesson. You've got to learn and that's what I am going to do. "

He says that one of the affairs carried on for the best part of five years while the rest were drunken one night stands with women he met while on tour.

Speculation is now mounting about Mark Owen's future with Take That. Paddy Power are offering odds of 5/1 that he will quit or be thrown out of the band and 8/1 that Robbie Williams will permanently replace him in the group. They are also offering odds of 7/4 that Mark Owen will be divorced by 2011.

Owen's revelations come after a string of celebrities, including Vernon Kay, Ashley Cole, John Terry and Tiger Woods were all caught up in various scandals alleging infidelity.
