Meanwhile, after the controversy surrounding the first week of the X-Factor when some of the contestants had their performances tweaked using autotuning the show has now banned the use of autotuning.

A spokesperson for the show has said "There will be no autotune in the audition shows or for competitive performances on live shows.”

Last week’s star Gamu Nhengu is currently favourite to win the show with odds of 8/1 with Bet365, Paddypower and Boylesport. While Mary Byrne has odds of 10/1 with Bet365, Bodog and Betfred to win the show.
