Rooney will play

There has been much speculation as to whether to venue will make Fabio Capello says Wayne Rooney will play against Switzerland
Wayne Rooney's personal life may be up in the air at the moment but England manager Fabio Capello has insisted that the striker will be playing in his side's Euro 2012 qualifier against Switzerland.
The Manchester United star has been splashed all over the tabloids again this week concerning alleged infidelity to his pregnant wife.
There had been much speculation as to whether Rooney would even be making to the trip to Switzerland, however, he was amongst the first of the England squad to walk up the steps and board the aeroplane.
The Italian manager was adamant that Rooney would feature in the match, while many critics of Capello have argued that he has little other choice due to the dismal state of the current England squad.
England have been hit hard by injuries, not to mention a spate of retirements from international football from the likes of Wes Brown and Paul Robinson.
Tottenham's Michael Dawson and Peter Crouch will also miss the match due to injury, with Dawson likely to be out for six to eight weeks after spraining his left knee ligament during England's 4-0 victory over Bulgaria in their opening qualifier.
Despite their diminished squad, England looked in familiar form against Bulgaria, a far cry from the team that achieved so little in this summer's World Cup in South Africa.
Rooney played in integral part in the win with a performance that Capello hopes he is capable of repeating against Switzerland.
"I hope his performance will be the same as at Wembley," said Capello. "I spoke with him and he is happy to play.
"We are focused on the game, not about the private life of the players. We are here to play this game and train very well."
bet365, Eurosport and Stan James offer 10/3 odds that Switzerland will capitalise on England's misfortunes and pick up a win in their Euro 2012 qualifying match.
