Andy Murray questions Grand Slam capability

It was all going so well for Andy Murray, who looked in the best position of his career to achieve his first Grand Slam title but as usual bitter disappointment struck for the unfortunate Scot as made an early exit from the US Open.
Murray went out at the hands of Stanislas Wawrinka in the third round of the competition, losing 6-7 (3-7) 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 6-3.
Britain's number one admitted that he was utterly at a loss as to why he failed to deliver a worthy performance, though Murray was constantly under strain from injury throughout the match.
Murray had been seeded fourth in the US Open and looked to be on good form in the previous rounds, however, he appeared to be less than fluid in his match against Wawrinka.
After the match, Murray stated that he felt “super fit” but conceded he did not feel on top form while playing, though many spectators would claim that those comments were an understatement as the world number four required for his thigh and neck in the third and fourth sets respectively.
Murray had the following to say about the injury concerns: "The first time, [it was] just tightness in my quad; the second time, just getting sort of pins and needles around my right elbow.”
The Scot isn't alone with other big names in the tournament have fallen in the early stages, such as American Andy Roddick.
Meanwhile Rafael Nadal and Roger Feder continue to look strong throughout their matches and are firm favourites.
"Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal have set the standard so high in recent years people are surprised when top players lose, but it happens.” stated Murray.
Sky Bet, Victor Chandler and BlueSQ offer 13/8 odds that Spaniard Rafael Nadal will complete his Grand Slam collection by triumphing at the US Open.
