Tina O'Brian back on Strictly
After having to pull out of last week's show with chicken pox, Corrie actress Tina O'Brian will be back to dance on Strictly this weekend.
The 27-year-old was forced to miss last week's show after she developed the contagious illness. She had been told by the show's bosses that she could miss one week of the show but anymore and she would have to pull out of the competition all together.
However, the BBC has now confirmed that Tina is "fighting fit" and will be dancing the Charleston on Saturday's show. She was cleared by the doctor on Tuesday and has now started training again with her partner Jared Murillo.
In a statement O'Brian said: "It is good to be back dancing, and I really want to catch up this week. I am a little tired, but I am so looking forward to Saturday when I will Charleston back to Strictly!"
Meanwhile, Destiny's Child start Michelle Williams has said that she that she is not ready to leave the show. The singer was in the bottom two on Sunday's show with Paul Daniels who was voted off the show.
She told the BBC's It Takes Two that "it was one of the worst feelings in the world, because honestly I'm not ready to go home yet. I made plans to be here... at least give me to Thanksgiving. Or maybe even Christmas time!
"I had tears flowing and you'd have thought that they'd called my name to go home, but that was the relief of staying."
However, this week she won't be dancing with her usual dance partner Brendon Cole who has flown back to New Zealand for his father's funeral. She'll instead be dancing the tango with Ian Waite.
Peter Shilton is the favourite to get the boot at the weekend with odds of 9/4 with Ladbrokes, Stanjames and Victor Chandler. Michelle Williams has odds of 10/3 with Skybet to leave the show and odds of 9/4 with Paddypower and stanjames while Patsy Kensit is priced at 5/1 to leave the show with extrabet and Coral and 4/1 with Paddypower.
