I’m a Celebrity Rumours
With I'm a Celebrity due to start on Sunday, the rumours of who is going to be in the show are stepping up a gear.
According to the Sun the show's bosses are desperate to get a winning line-up this year after Katie Price's inclusion in the show backfired against them.
A source on the ITV show told the paper "We got our fingers burnt last year getting Katie in. She hogged the limelight and viewers got fed up with it. Now we're going back to basics with great celebs and all the jungle nastiness viewers love.
"We say this every year but this time we really mean it - this is the best ever line-up."
And according to the Sun this year celebrities including Brit Ekland, Dom Joly, Shaun Ryder of Happy Mondays fame, last year's X-Factor darling Stacey Solomon, Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik, Olympic athlete Linford Christie and Nigel Havers. They'll also be joined by You are what you eat‘s Gillian McKeith, Cheryl Gascoigne, Aggro Santos and Alison Hammond.
The Sun also claimed that Gail Porter would also be going to the jungle but has since pulled out and has been replaced by Playboy bunny Kayla Collins. And according to some reports she denied that she was ever going to go into the jungle in the first place.
Her agent Janie Brent told the Metro and said her client doesn't have time to go on every show she is offered.
She said: "Gail will not be taking part in this years' I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.
"She has been inundated with requests to appear in lots of programmes but sadly she just hasn't got the time to take part in them all.
"She loves the show and will be watching with her boyfriend Johnny and daughter Honey."
Last X-Factor finalist Stacey Solomon is currently the favourite to win the show with odds of 11/4 with Bet365, totesport and Boylesport. Happy Mondays' Shaun Ryder has odds of 7/1 with Paddypower and 6/1 with Sportingbet and Victor Chandler. Alison Hammond has odds of 8/1 with sportingbet and 6/1 with 888sport and Bodog.
