Mystery punter cleans up at William Hill

Everybody who has ever placed a bet within their lifetime loves to hear a gambling success story; whether it's somebody winning big at their local bingo or scooping a lucrative sum in the national lottery – now it appears that an unknown gambler has been seeing a series of successes of his own in recent weeks...
The anonymous punter has reportedly seen humungous profits after staking over £1.5 million in a series of daring bets. The market leading UK bookmaker has been left stunned after the punter scored his massive wins in one of their London-based establishments.
The bold customer has enjoyed a run of 25 winning bets so far, staking £1.5 million along the way, which has left them a cool £160,000 richer. It has been rumoured that the player in question has no designs on abandoning their lucky streak until they have successfully taken enough winnings to buy themselves a new house.
It is thought that the unknown customers, who is in their mid-thirties, first started to appear in the well-known bookmakers back in March of this year; their first successful bets were said to be on tennis stars Novak Djokovic and Kim Clijsters. They then went on to bet a massive £110,000 on Djokovic beating Frenchman Gasquet. Other reported bets have involved such sporting personalities as the likes of Amir Khan and Nathan Cleverly, which have seen wagers to the amount of £96,000 and £28,000.
Needless to say, William Hill have been left shocked by the turn of events and are still trying to fathom how the customer could have seen such unprecedented levels of luck.
“This is the most incredible run of winning bets I have ever come across in 30 years in the business,” commented William Hill spokesperson Graham Sharpe.
