Betfair launches new iPad app for betting

The new offering comes in the form of an app for the incredibly popular iPad device (from Apple); with the aim of the new app is to allow Betfair users to perform all their usual betting activities from the comfort of their tablet device.
The app is now available to download by their customers through Apple's online app store; Betfair have said that they believe the release of their latest app will be of great benefit to their existing customers, as well as being an enticement for new customers who wish to reap the benefits of such intuitive software options. The application has come from Betfair's development offices which are based in San Francisco in the United States; it is the first application to be released by the offices is thought to herald the beginning of a new era in the progression of Betfair's mobile gaming services.
The development and release of the new app is being overseen by former executive of Yahoo, Raj Vemulapalli, who said: “The newly launched betting application has proved to be a game changer for our players, to offer them very good experience in betting, along with utilization of unique features incorporated in their iPad phones. Mobile betting has come into force in the sports betting industry. This shift towards mobile betting from online has proved to be more exciting as compared to the shift towards online betting from offline.”
